Quelle  alternative à la moutarde classique?
Voici une de mes propositions.  En France, 1kg par an et par personne est la consommation moyenne de moutarde évaluée. La moutarde est donc bien installée au centre des habitudes alimentaires dans l’hexagone et dans beaucoup de pays dans le monde et singulièrement dans ceux de certains pays de l'Afrique subsaharienne.  Cependant, trouver aujourd’hui un pot de ce condiment dans certains supermarchés devient difficile.

Prunes comme on dit au Cameroun aka Ṣao chez les duala  aka safou. Le safou ou prune au Cameroun, ou encore atanga au Gabon, est le fruit du safoutier. C'est un fruit oléagineux, saisonnier, hautement périssable et originaire d'Afrique centrale. Le safou est apprécié en Afrique subsaharienne où il est préparé comme un légume : bouilli ou grillé.
