Baking : 25 minutes


What you need

– 1 large sweet potato around 230 grams (These vegetables are readily available in markets or supermarkets)

– 2 tablespoons of canola oil

– 2 glasses of water

– Salt

– A little thyme for decoration

Preparation of the recipe

– Wash the sweet potatoes with water, although the brush and clean the skin to remove all traces of soil or sand

– Cut into 5 equal pieces

– Put the pieces of sweet potatoes in a pan with 2 glasses of water

– Bring to boil on high heat for 20 minutes

– Drain vegetables pieces, deprive them or not skin and cut each 5 pieces 4 parts lengthwise and crosswise

– In a pan, put 2 tablespoons of canola oil and sauté vegetables, 3 to 5 minutes depending on whether you want more or less toasted pieces

– Add salt to your liking

– Dresser and garnish with thyme

Tips / advice / variants

* These sweet potatoes perfectly accompany dishes in sauce.

* This recipe goes well with roast, the lamb ribs, piggy, fish or poultry. I water beforehand pieces of sweet potatoes scented oil (thym ou basilic)

* I removed the skin of vegetables for convenience, so that my children can also sample this delicious dish. If the skin does not bother you, keep it.

* You can substitute canola oil for peanut oil, sunflower or olive
